Petlevanyy E. Grounds and development of measures to ensure the multiple steel rod drawing without breakage with wire unstable geometrical and mechanical characteristics

Scientific basis of the low carbon rod multiple drawing processes without breakage for wire with the destabilizing factor of defects have been developed in dissertation. Experimentally and theoretically the regularities of defects-imitators forming, which vary in size, location with respect to the axis of the work piece and the properties of the material filling the cavity of the "defects" were defined. Technological proposals to implement the stable low carbon steel rod multiple wire drawing with defects, technological test for deformability steel rod in multiroll deforming device with surface defects proposed and approved, also as the rational lubricant composition for welding flux cored wire. The developed technologies are implemented in conditions of two hardware companies. The data is also used in the educational process of the National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine.
