The thesis deals and decided to date scientific and technical problem of justification of safe parameters for construction technology of development workings with their drive towards longwall face, that can accelerate the introduction of faces in operation, reduce transport chains and reduce the cost of mining coal. Complex of researches consisted of field measurements and numerical modeling of geomechanical situations. Full-scale experiments were carried out in the preparatory workings of mines "Ternovs'ka" and "Stepova" PJSC "DTEK - Pavlogradcoal". Experimental districts were made in five airborne drifts. Measurements have shown that the main geomechanical processes occur at a distance of approximately 100 m between faces moving towards each other. The quality of state of extended workings was the better, the faster one's approaching the bottom. The calculation of frame-based anchoring was made on basis of many-variant-solution of elastic-plastic problems both in 2D, and in 3D setting. Operating experience of the workings with support, the parameters of which have been suggested, showed that workings are in satisfactory condition. The economic effect of the introduction of scientific developments amounted to about 350 million UAH.
