Essay

In the thesis, for the first time, traditions of metaphysical poetry in lyrics of the second half of the twentieth century are represented systematically, particularly those reflected in the creations of S. Kekova, A. Parschikov, H. Sapgir, G. Kruzhkov - the authors who represent different areas in poetry and stylistic paradigm of art. The scientific reception of metaphysical poetry as a historical phenomenon is systematized, the views of scientists on its projection in various literatures and idiostyles of specified writers are presented in detail. The basic definitions of metaphysical poetry, different views on tradition of metaphysical poetry, problems of literary-historical and theoretical coverage of this phenomenon in contemporary literary criticism are analyzed. The attempt is made, based on the material of modern poetry (creations of S. Kekova, O. Parschikov, G. Sapgir, G. Kruzhkov), to trace fully the peculiarities of metaphysical poetry traditions, to identify their implementation at various levels of the texts' artistic structure. At the same time in this thesis, the style characteristics and components of the phenomenon of metaphysical poetry at the present stage of its development were specified. Kruzhkov is introduced into scientific circulation and examined for the first time with focus on the specified issues.
