Essay

The methods by which are formed derivations of the variations on personal proper names of the population of the Ukrainian region of Volhynian Polissya are analyzed, the creation of which werw facilitated by two methods - morphological and non-morphological. Revealed as being instrumental within the morphological process of the creation of these derivations were: suffixization, regression, as well as the combination of these - a regressive-suffix variant. Non-morphological creation of derivations of personal proper names was represented by the lexical-semantic, phonetic, and accentuated variants.
