Prykhodko N. Punctuation system in the language of creative works of Lesya Ukrainka

The dissertation presents the functional semantic analysis of punctuation in poetic, dramaturgical and epistolatory texts by Lesya Ukrainka, as well as the study of dynamics and formation of the punctuation system in the Ukrainian language. It also covers the concept of an author's punctuation and its functions in different text types. The thesis describes the peculiarities of Lesya Ukrainka's punctuation in her handwritten and published texts. Dominants of the punctuation system in poetic, dramaturgical and epistolatory texts by Lesya Ukrainka are singled out, the functions of punctuation in poetic texts are determined, and the dynamics of the punctuation pattern in the collection of poems "On the Wings of Songs" is delineated.
