Essay

In this paper we accomplished a comprehensive study of recreation and tourist resources among the administrative districts of Khmelnitsky region. According to the size and structure of such resources and index of their attraction we distinguished 5 recreation and tourist regions. We singled out the main problems and justified the main directions of optimization the development of recreation and tourist industry in the regions.
