Bidniuk K. Informational support of prophylactic dentistry observation of children

The conception on providing of informational background of prophylactic dentistry observation of pupils have been worked out and implemented. The functional role played by participants of the process of dentistry prophylactic observations, which included staff of schools and dentistry policlinics have been defined and grounded. Informational criteria, which permitted to compose individual schedules of prospective observations of pupils, have been established. The using of a designed questionnaire aimed to determine factors of motivation to maintain dental health, has allowed to analyze the level of motivation of pupils and determine the structure of these factors as the basis for the formation of additional sanitary and education programs to improve children's motivation to preserve own dental health. The method for remote control of the teeth state, which is based on analysis of tooth surfaces images obtained using mobile camera and transmitted via the internet to doctor allows to determine the presence and severity of changes in the optical properties of enamel as signs of caries at an early stage of its development, allows to carry out the necessary treatment of sequelae to children after orthodontic treatment with the installation of bracket systems. The clinical effectiveness as a result of exploration of informational-methodical support was proved in terms of heightening of the dental health of pupils.
