Essay

On basis of analyzing the paradigmatic organization of lexico-semantic and associative-figurative relations of somatic nominations in poetic works (the end XX t / beginning XXI th Centuries) the exarticulation of similar lexical paradigm as a self-sufficient vocabulary grouping with certain differential features is grounded. It is proved that being one of the basic components of the macroparadigm "man" the correspondent lexico-thematic group represents at the same time fundamental fragment of the national language and modern Ukrainian poetic picture of the world. The stylistic status of the somatisms as verbal centres of such lexico-semantic paradigms as "body", "face", "eyes", "lips", "hair", "heart", "blood" is affirmed. While studying the peculiarities of their component filling and structural organization the correlation of the figurative, logical-informational and value components was determined; there have been described the cases of mythic-poetical and culturological information verbalization connected with artistic perception of significance of body parts names in the context of ethnomarked language portraying of the person; lexico-semantic micromodels of the external and psychoemotional portraits have been built; the axiomatic content of the units which by their initial lexical meaning cover conceptual sphere "external man's portrait" has been characterized, however by the secondary characteristics they come into other thematic zones, first of all - into the zone of "psychoemotional (internal) portrait of a man".
