Gluha V. Mechanisms of state regulation in depressed regions in Ukraine

Object of research: the process of state regulation of depressed regions. Objective: is the theoretical justification and development of practical proposals to improve mechanisms of state regulation in depressed regions in relation with the latest trends of socio-economic development of Ukraine. Methods: monographic, analysis and synthesis, statistical analysis, comparison and generalization of abstract logic. Results: The theoretical basis and scientific approaches to improve mechanisms of state regulation of depressed regions in Ukraine. Novelty: The application of the organizational structure of regional information subsystem as part of an information mechanism of state regulation of depressed regions; improved economic mechanism of state regulation of depressed regions through the implementation of branding strategies; obtained the further development of the conceptual apparatus of science of state administration by identifying characteristics such concepts as "region" and "regional economic space" and others. Introduced in the activities of the Office for Cooperation with customs authorities, border guards, defense and mobilization of Kharkiv Regional State Administration and Classic Private University. Areas of use: public administration, local self-government.
