Object of research: State administration development of the region in modern conditions. Objective: To study are theoretical principles of state administration of regional development based on the principles of marketing and development of practical recommendations for development and improvement of marketing mechanism of public administration region. Methods: logical, dialectical, generalization, comprehensive and systematic approaches, economic and statistical analysis, and methods of observation, comparison, synthesis, aimed-program, induction and deduction, abstraction, formalization. Results: The theoretical basis and scientific approaches to improving the of state administration of regional development based on the principles of marketing. Novelty: grounded meaning, purpose and structure of mechanism of state administration marketing development of the region; its objectives, principles, functions, methods and tools; the mechanism of the development of socio-economic development of the region on the principles of marketing; obtained the further development of the research nature of the concepts of "region" and "regional governance" and others. Introduced in the activities of the Department of Economics and International Relations of Kharkiv Regional State Administration and Kharkiv State Academy of Culture.
