Essay

The thesis is devoted to the investigation of linguistic means of expression and features of functioning of the image of heart in the Ukrainian poetry of the XIX century. The algorithm of the description of the cognitive-communicative mechanisms of the image of heart objectification (“from myth to logos”) is derived. The mental undergrounds of the Ukrainian “heart center” tradition are emerged.
