Tsytriak V. Bribery in the sphere of public official activity: Criminological Research.

The Thesis is the first monographic research in Ukraine which discloses criminological essence of bribery in the sphere of public official activity as institutional form of corruptional relations under the conditions of transformation of official activity sphere and anticorruption legislation. Methodological foundations of the given phenomenon have been grounded, its social and criminological causaliry has been exeminad, system research of criminological indicts and deterministic mechanism of bribery in the sphere of public official activity has been done, typical peculiarities of persons – participants of the indicated type of corruption relations have been identified and systematized. A number of theoretical and practical recommendations directed at improvement and increase of effectiveness of prevention measures of bribery in the sphere of public official activity as variety of corruption practices has been formulated.
