Vashrova N. Religious and secular dimension of private and public space of contemporary Ukrainian society

The thesis is focused on studying the peculiarities of division of spheres of influence between "religious" and "secular" discourses in the public and private space in contemporary Ukrainian society. Author's conceptual and methodological model of "religious" and "secular" in the structure of "private" and "public" was developed and empirically validated. The model was applied to examine articulations of "religious / secular" in relation to the structural elements of private and public space in the official discourses produced by the Ukrainian government, media messages of traditional Churches and opinions of Ukrainian citizens.
