Essay

The dissertation is devoted to improvement of evaluation for the rehabilitation potential and restoration of motor functions in case of stroke. As a result of clinico-functional studies of 112 patients (mean age 59,2 ± 5,67 years) with newly arisen hemispheric ischemic stroke in the acute and early recovery periods with mild neurological deficits it is clarified opportunities of transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) for both an objective evaluation of motor disorders and neuromuscular training during realization of rehabilitation programs. It is shown that TMS in combination with electromyostimulation, according to the developed method, enhances the effectiveness of medical rehabilitation for patients with hemispheric ischemic stroke.
