Abidov E. Roentgensurgical technologies in treatment of pancreatic diseases.

The aim of thesis is to improve the efficiency of surgical treatment of patients with diseases of the pancreas and their complications by applying roentgensurgical technologies. The causes of unsatisfactory results of treatment of patients with diseases of the pancreas, as well as their complications in the use of traditional methods of surgical treatment. It is proved that roentgensurgical diagnosis is most informative to determine the nature of the lesion in pancreatobiliary zone, biliary duct and great vessels, and allows to set roentgensurgical criteria of external influences on the biliary tract and the main factors that cause bleeding in patients with pancreas diseases. A new roentgensurgical treatment method of pancreatic diseases postoperative complication as biliodigestive anastomosis stricture, complicated by obstructive jaundice and external biliary fistula was developed. Proposed medical algorithms made it possible to reduce the time patients stay in hospital from 21.4±3.5 days (comparison group) to 14.1±2.4 days (main group); the number of postoperative complications decreased from 42.3% to 14.4%; postoperative mortality has decreased, respectively, from 14.4% to 5.1% (p?0,05). This research showed improvement in results of pancreatic diseases treatment, by using roentgensurgical technologies in complex with surgical methods or as a separate method.
