Essay

The object of research is the process of diagnosis of tomograms of the macular area of the retina through the use of modern methods for the analysis of biomedical information through the application of the system. Work objective is to increase the reliability of the analysis of biomedical data by creating a method of treating retinal tomograms and system diagnosis of idiopathic macular breaks (IMB). Research methods: the theory of algorithms, fuzzy sets, image filtering methods, methods of clinical and medical research. First obtained a conversion function, which allows to evaluate the progression of IMB. First defined informative features, which allows to put a specific diagnosis of the patient. Further developed the method of processing of tomograms retina that allows to segment the image and highlight the contours of the macular area with high accuracy. Has been further developed the system analysis of the structural changes in diagnosis of the IMB, which improves the analysis accuracy. Practical resultsЖ developed algorithms and software of image processing, designed biomedical system for analysis and evaluation of pathologies of the retina and determine the stage of progression of IMB, formed method of analysis of the state of the macular area of the retina using fuzzy logic, allowing to increase effectiveness of integrated diagnosing pathologies of the ocular fundus. Results of the thesis are implemented in the Department of Ophthalmology of Pirogov Vinnytsya National Medical University and in the learning process of the Department of Laser and Optoelectronics of Vinnytsya National Technical University. Scope (area) of usage - medical and patient clinics for the diagnosis of pathologies of the ocular fundus.
