Ribina H. Organizational and economic implementation for environmentally sustainable development of rail transport

Object of study: a system of organizational and economic provision of environmentally sustainable development for the railway transport. Research objective: the development of organizational and economic provision of environmentally sustainable development for the railway transport. Research methods and techniques: system and structural analysis; comparative and statistical analysis; factor analysis; economic and mathematical modeling of cause-effect relations. Theoretical and practical results: the results are theoretical and methodological statements, conclusions and recommendations to be implemented to improve the environmental activities being provided by both of the railways engines and other branches of the transportation sector. Novelty: a structural and logical nature of the term "ecologically sustainable development of the railway transport" is defined; a scientific and methodical approach to making a strategy of environmentally sustainable development for the railway transport is improved; a scientific and methodical approach to the economic evaluation of the mobile engines of the railway transport eco-destructive impact is improved; methodical issues dealing with formation of the organizational structure of ecological management of the railway transport of Ukraine are improved; a system of formation principles for environmentally sustainable development strategy for the railway transport is forwardly developed; a scientific and methodical approach to the assessment of ecological and economic efficiency of the measures aimed at implementation of ecological strategy for railway transport is forwardly developed. Degree of implementation: developments and practical issues are implemented into: activity of separate subdivision - Sumy railway department of the State Enterprise "Southern Railway", the educational process of SSU. Scope (branch) of application: environmental economics and environmental protection.
