The thesis focuses on the peculiarities of correlation between categories of state and aspectuality in the Ukrainian language on the basis of their differential features and their grammatical and conceptual level functions. The work establishes reasons, features and interaction areas of these functional-semantic categories in the communication process, defines their position in the functional-semantic space of modern Ukrainian language and outlines the main directions and semantic features of their interaction.
