Object - the system of higher education as a social and political institutions; the aim is definition of the main principles of political ensure humanization of higher education in Ukraine; methods - systematic, comparative-historical, subject-regulatory analysis, system-structural approach; novelty - a comprehensive study of humanistic paradigm in higher education in political science aspect; results - justified, that the foundation of the concept of development of higher education constitute potential parameters of a society based on humanistic principles; it is introduced in a research sphere, educational courses on political science; fields - vocational training, the theory of politics, political practice.
