Thesis deals with the features of self-confidence in adolescence. The paper singles out the structural components of self-confidence: cognitive, motivational target, emotional and evaluative, behavioral, each of which is characterized by certain criteria. Proved and the levels of self-confidence, and especially their manifestation in boys and girls. Established types of self-confidence and clarified the characteristics of their development in adolescence. Proved, developed, tested and experimentally proved the effectiveness of the optimization program of self-confidence in youth through the process of activation and structural components of active learning methods.
