The thesis focuses on the problem of forming the English language professionally oriented reading competence to future university teachers by means of the Internet Resources. The teaching methodology of forming the English language professionally oriented reading competence to future university teachers by means of the Internet resources has been theoretically substantiated and practically elaborated. The historic, methodological, psychological and pedagogical prerequisites have been defined. The subsystem of exercises for forming the English language professionally oriented reading competence to future university teachers with the use of the Internet resources has been introduced. A learning process model has been created. The effectiveness of the developed methodology has been proved by the experimental teaching, the data and the results of the experiment have been analysed. Guidelines for the organization of the learning process have been framed.
