Kipshydze O. Features of diagnosis and treatment of bacterial abscesses of the liver

The study identified features a comprehensive survey of patients using modern instrumental methods of diagnosis (ultrasound, computed tomography, endoscopic techniques). Treatment of patients with bacterial liver abscess should be performed differently according to the origin of abscesses, their size, the thickness of the capsule, the presence of baffles and complications. Treatment of abscesses should be radical with the elimination of their causes . Indications for use of minimally invasive surgical techniques - the method of bacterial abscess drainage with interventional sonography, nazobiliarnym external drainage with debridement of the duct system and the liver abscess cavity were standardized. It is proved that this method is less traumatic , safe and effective treatment for liver abscesses with extensive control postoperative period compared with laparotomic operations.
