In the dissertation investigates the phenomenon of social impact of law as a factor of definition of individual and collective legal beliefs. Dissertator considers the aspect of social orientation of impact of law determines its value in the socio - legal interaction. Are proposed definition of the social impact of law, its mechanism and criteria for separating the social impact of law on separate forms. Particular emphasis is focused on the notion of species and forms of social impact of law as its independent directions. Analyzed the effectiveness of social impact of law and systematized factors and conditions to its effectiveness. Studied the negative conditions of the social impact of law, their content and importance in realizing the impact of law. Offered a list of the major negative conditions of effectiveness the social impact of law and defined the nature of their impact on individual and community legal beliefs. Formulated recommendations for overcoming certain negative conditions of effectiveness and efficiency of the social impact of law.
