Essay

Object is the contact interaction of inhomogeneous elastic finite bodies in non-ideal conditions thermomechanical contact. The aim is the develop and implement methods for numerical solution of contact problems of thermoelasticity with nonideal thermomechanical contact, analysis of the results of the numerical solution of a number of specific problems, identifying specific thermomechanical effects. Methods - linear elasticity theory and the theory of thermal conductivity, variational method and finite element method. Variational formulation of the problem is obtained. An iterative numerical algorithm is proposed. Unbounded elastic and thermal problems are solved at each iteration. The finite element method is used for discretization of the problems. Numerical results are obtained and analyzed. The effect of lamination of multilayer bodies under heating is investigated.. Scope - mechanical engineering, instrumentation, the learning process.
