Kravchenko V. Control and supervisory functions of Supreme Governmental Authorities of Ukraine: constitutional legal aspect.

The Thesis is dedicated to research of control and supervisory activity of Supreme Governmental Authorities in constitutional law of Ukraine. The paper for the first time ever defines the notion of control in the sphere of constitutional law as an activity carried out by authorized control bodies over controllable objects in the framework of and in accordance with procedures established by Constitution and laws of Ukraine in order to secure efficient operation thereof and exercise their powers, ensure compliance with the rights and freedoms of man and citizen, protect basics of constitutional order, law and order, etc. The Thesis offers classification of control and supervisory activity by the bodies/subjects that carry it out, time and obligatoriness of implementation thereof.
