The Dissertation presents a complex analysis of the subrogation under the Civil law of Ukraine. The legal nature of subrogation is determined with help of its concept definition, ascertainment of ground and conditions of application, describing genesis of legal regulation under the Civil law of Ukraine and foreign countries. Based on subrogation dominant features the author divides subrogation into groups by classification criterions as ground of subrogation; scope of rights that transfers to subrogee; subrogee.
