Nalizhitiy A. Correction of toxic - metabolic disorders in patients with neurodermatitis using combination therapy

Thesis is dedicated to pathogenesis analysis and improvement of treatment efficacy of patients with neurodermatitis by prescribing combination therapy using drugs of metabolic action Tivortin Aspartate, Folic Acid, Decamevit, Sodium Chloride Mineral Water "Bronnychanka" and locally - laser therapy, topical corticosteroid cream Sterocort and moistening agent - cream Cu - Zn+. In the examined 115 patients with neurodermatitis aged 21 to 76 years for the first time it was found a disorder of nitrogen oxide system with reduced nitrogen metabolites content and increase in concentration of metabolic inhibitors of its synthesis. It was established that the development of endothelial dysfunction in patients with neurodermatitis may contribute to reducing the concentration of nitrites and nitrates, affected by content growth of asymmetric and symmetric dymethyl-arginines. The patients with neurodermatitis had toxic - metabolic disorders, the activity of peroxidation processes and antioxidant protection system that includes enzymatic and nonenzymatic links was studied. For the first time factors dynamics of oxidative modification of proteins and homocysteine in the process of combination therapy was studied and reliable information value of using them in assessing the level of toxic disorders in patients with neurodermatitis was clarified. It was found out that the activation of peroxidation processes is accompanied by failure of compensatory mechanisms of antioxidant system. It was also established the presence of different strengths of correlation relationships between the studied parameters and their dependence on the severity of neurodermatitis, area of lesion, duration of illness, age of patients and their sex. It was proved that using, in addition to conventional therapy, drugs of metabolic actions Tivortin Aspartate, Folic Acid, Decamevit, Sodium Chloride Mineral Water "Bronnychanka" and locally - laser therapy allows to reduce the duration of medical treatment of patients with neurodermatitis and achieve a longer duration of remission compared with patients that took conventional therapy.
