The dissertation is devoted to studying of special features of the development of HIV infection epidemic process in Ukraine and in the region with low level of HIV infection spread in up-to-date conditions, of the impact of social-cultural factors on its quantitative and qualitative parameters. Also the work is devoted to an improvement of the preventive measures via applying the assistant reproductive technologies. New scientific data are obtained about factors that enhance risk of HIV transmission by sexual way, determined the role of discordant couples in spread of HIV infection in Ukraine at present.
