Popper O. Terrorism as a form of political struggle

The author analyzes the nature and features of terrorism in the context of current social processes. The basic types, characteristics and trends in modern political terrorism manifestations are defined. Types of methodological research to investigate terrorism as a specific form of political struggle are found. The role and importance of international organizations in the fight against terrorism as a new global challenges of the modern world is shown. Social and political practices in the fight against terrorism are analyzed in the context of international experience. The author characterizes policies and practices to combat terrorism in Ukraine according to international realities . The essence of national security policy is considered a factor of terrorism prevention in Ukraine.
