Dissertation is a comprehensive research of institution of special proceedings on divorce cases. The evolution of the legal regulation of special proceeding on divorce cases is considered, its legal nature is defined and its concept is framed. Based on the results of the research the preconditions to realize the right to file the divorce application form to the court are outlined. The features of civil procedural status of those involved in the cases for special proceeding on divorce are established. The specific of procedural form of evidences and proof in such cases is defined.
