Lichman T. Protection of Trade Secrets in the System of Economic Security of Ukrainian Enterprises in European Integration Process

The Thesis deals with the impact of trade secrets on the system of economic security in the process of European integration; the scientific and practical recommendations for the organization of the trade secrets comprehensive protection in Ukrainian enterprises were developed. In the paper, the economic substance of trade secrets was disclosed; the place of trade secrets in the system of economic security was defined. Organizational and legal mechanism for the protection of trade secrets in the enterprise economic security system was investigated and the ways to improve its regulatory component were suggested. The main problems arising in the framework of trade secrets protection organization in enterprises of Ukraine were defined. The approaches to protection of trade secrets in the EU were investigated. The levels of threats to trade secrets due to the process of European integration were established. The algorithm of the organization of trade secrets protection in the enterprise using the comprehensive approach was represented. The author's technique of the trade secrets in the enterprise determination, which is based on the use of tools of economic analysis, was defined. The activity of the units of enterprise economic security in the organization of the trade secrets protection through the effective structural organization, compliance with a certain algorithm of actions and interactions with the private sector of the entrepreneurship security and law enforcement bodies was improved.
