Essay

The thesis is devoted to the mechanisms of pancreatic damage by means of pro-found investigation of its morphofunctional state resulted from unbalanced diet with an excess or deficiency of nutrients and chronic stress on the mother-fetus system. We have defined the options of the pancreatic dysfunction (hyperpancreatism, hypopancreatism, dispancreatism) and the frequency of their occurrence in rats under the action of various exogenous factors harmful to the mother-fetus system. We have found that the rats, as well as their mothers, are exposed to marked violation of morphology and function of the pancreas, which persist in the first two months of postnatal life (increase in the relative volume of the stroma, reducing the average area of acini and islet of Langerhans, reducing endocrinocytes in islet of Langerhans), despite the physiological conditions of existence and balanced diet. We have defined that the most pronounced changes in the morphology and function of the pancreas are caused by unbalanced diet at a deficit of nutrients. We have clarified the mechanism of pancreas damage in rats as a result of an unbalanced diet and chronic stress on the mother-fetus system.
