Dolzhanska Y. Serhiy Mushnyk's creative work in the Ukrainian literature context in 1940-80s.

The object of research - S. Mushnyk's poetic and prose works as well as his journalistic production and his epistolary; the purpose of work is complex analysis of writer's life, ideological and aesthetic features of S. Mushnyk's creative works in the sight of Ukrainian literature context and ideology and creativity search in 40-80s of 20th century; the methods are cultural and historical, structural, biographical, comparative typological, with some elements of psychological method; the novelty - the first complex investigation of S. Mushnyk's creative works in Ukrainian literature in 40-80s of 20th century; his life and creative biography are also represented; the level of author's creative heritage interpretation in literary criticism was found out; sociocultural conditions which influenced the formation of the author's world outlook are also considered; basic motives, characters, poetry genres variety of the writer are analyzed; complete analysis of S. Mushnyk's prose works in the context of ideological and aesthetic search in Ukrainian literature in second half of 20th century is made, thus the peculiarities of World War II theme realization are discovered in his creative heritage; the results can be used for creation of appropriate chapters of books and manuals, lecture courses in history of Ukrainian literature of the second half of 20th century, in special courses, seminars, in writing diplomas and term papers by philology students, on lessons in literature of native country in comprehensive schools and institutions of higher education; the branch of knowledge is philology.
