Aim: to theoretically ground, practically develop and experimentally verify the effectiveness of the methodology of forming future English language teachers' linguosociocultural competence in the process of reading fiction. Practical value: the system of exercises for forming future English language teachers' linguosociocultural competence is developed, the methodological recommendation are grounded, the textbook is developed. Methods: the critical analysis, generalization of teachers', observation, questionnaire, tests, statistic analysis.
