The thesis covers methodical approaches to the formation of a complex system of supervision and control in the financial sector, changes in the functions of supervision, regulation in the financial instability. The modern European model of management in the financial sector and the application of macro prudential policy tools were analyzed. A package of structural financial indicators was developed and trends, aggravating factors of financial instability in Ukraine, were identified.
