The thesis is devoted to the substantiation of theoretical and methodological bases and practical recommendations for improvement of credit relations between agricultural enterprises and banks. The object of the research is the process of credit relations with banks farms. The object of the research was theoretical and methodological foundations and applied economic aspects of the formation and implementation of credit relations with banks farms.The methodological basis of the research were the main tenets of the theory of finance and credit, the dialectical method of knowledge, a systematic approach to the study of the phenomena being studied and the processes used methods of analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, analogy, comparison and generalization, graphic, monographic, statistical, economic, economic -matematychnoho modeling.The paper defines the theoretical interpretation of the essence of the concept of "credit relationships between banks and farms", clarifies the definition of "credit" and the meaning of "financial security of agricultural enterprises." Generalized classification of commercial loans granted to agricultural enterprises. Analysis of the financial stability of banks was conducted and the integral indicator of credit risk on the basis of scoring was calculated. Proposals for the development of credit relations between domestic agricultural enterprises and banks on the basis of positive foreign experience credit for agricultural enterprises were made.
