The dissertation is devoted to the investigation of insurance as a means of providing compensation of nuclear damage.Based on a comprehensive analysis of insurance as a means of providing compensation for nuclear damage peculiarities of the legal nature of the contract of compulsory insurance of liability for nuclear damage, definitions of "insured event", "spontaneous disaster of exceptional character ", it is grounded extension compared to the fixed law of Ukraine circumstances evidencing of the emergence of the insurance obligation liability insurance of nuclear damage.
