Essay

The thesis contains the results of theoretical and experimental research of forming the language and communicative competence using systematic approach in gymnasium senior students. It discusses the leading tendencies in development of methods of forming the language and communicative competence in language-specialized high school senior students, finds out stages of forming language, linguistic and communicative competence. It specifies and justifies the essence of basic concepts of research, analyses the educational and methodical support of talented gymnasium senior students and psychological and pedagogical conditions for forming the language and communicative competence of talented and gifted students. It also developed, presented in the form of educational methodical model and experimentally approved the educational and methodical system of forming the language and communicative competence using a systematic approach, which assumes the usage of educational and methodical complex in educational process: textbook and workbook; realization of communicative and activity-oriented approach to language education by modelling situations in professional communication; introduction of the systematic combination of oral and written, individual and group activities on the Ukrainian language lessons; organization of text-based education using professional-oriented texts; creating situations of professional communication on the Ukrainian language lessons; using interactive methods of education. During the experimental and research educational process the efficiency of author's educational and methodical system of forming language and communicative competence in gymnasium senior students was proved. The comparative analysis of experimental education results has shown positive dynamics of levels of language, linguistic and communicative competence formation in gymnasium senior students, which has proved the expediency of proposed model.
