Essay

The aim of the thesis is the synthesis and determination of physical and chemical properties of new binuclear lanthanide complexes with 3-methyl-1-phenyl-4-formylpyrazol-5-one acylbishydrazones, as potential emitters for fluorescent devices and magnetic materials. Object of study: formation of binuclear lanthanide coordination compounds. Methods: chemical and thermogravimetric analysis, IR, EPR and luminescence spectroscopy, static and dynamic magnetic susceptibility and X-ray analysis. Scientific novelty of the results: firstly research focused on binuclear lanthanide complexes with acylbishydrazones with saturated dicarboxylic acids and 3-methyl-1-phenyl-4-formilpirazolon-5-one. Received 43 new coordination compounds of lanthanum, neodymium (III), samarium (III), europium (III), gadolinium (III), terbium (III) and dysproziyu (III). According to X-ray analysis of eight synthesized compounds found that a distinctive feature of the investigated compounds is the presence of two coordination polyhedrons linked by three aliphatic spacers. The study of the optical properties of the synthesized compounds found that narrow emission peaks were observed in the luminescence spectra of neodymium and samarium complexes with 3-methyl-1-phenyl-4-formylpyrazol-5-one acylbishydrazones, the peaks being characteristic for these ions. According to the results of magnetic measurements, the paramagnetic centers have a weak antiferromagnetic exchange interaction in binuclear Gd(III) complexes.
