Dzhenzhebir O. Structural and functional characteristics of media invironment of the satellite cities of Kyiv.

The research is devoted to the analysis of media environment of the satellite cities of Kyiv: its structure and details. The thesis analyzes the main scientific approaches to definition of "media environment", representing the author's definition. The approaches to understanding of the concept "media environment" (MI) are generalyzed. It is identified the information content and information "gaps" in the structure of MI of the satellite cities of Kyiv, the levels of local coverage and the methods of information provision of the local media. It is formed a separate cluster model of media environment of the certain city. It is analyzed the informational content, defining the forms of information coverage in media environment of the local level.
