Essay

Based on the results of comprehensive researches a permissible concentration of L-lysine aescunat in the air of working zone (2,0 mg/m3) has been scintifically substantiated. It is found that the produkt has the resorptive toxic and weak lokally irritating effects in contact with the skin, causes an expressed irritation of eyes. A moderate toxicity of L-lysine aescunat has been confirmed on alternative test kits. The drug does not create a real threat to the development of remote effects, however there is a possibility of autoimmune processes in workers who has a long-term contact with the toxicant. In terms of production L-lysine aescunat can get into the air of working zone, fall on skin, mucousas and contaminate clothes at the stages of weighing an initial components and loading into the reactor. The maximum concentration of drug in the air of working zone reached 1,7 mg/m3. Based on the studies, a set of sanitation, hygienic and preventive health activities were proposed.
