In the thesis work has investigated the theoretical approaches of representatives of various scientific schools to the essence of the financial mechanism, a development that helped clarify the nature of the financial mechanism, economic development, and propose an authors approach to the interpretation of financial development mechanism. It has defined the components and features of the financial mechanism functioning in agriculture and it has proposed indicators for the effectiveness estimation of its functioning. It has characterized the tendency of the industry development, has proposed methodological approach to the effectiveness estimation of the financial development mechanism of agriculture according to taxonomic method.
