Artyushenko Z. Artistic interpretation of history in the novels of Ivan Bilyk

Previously unknown material from the writer's personal library is introduced in the text of the manuscript (scientific thematic literature with author's comments, a selection of articles about him, memoirs of contemporaries, the original manuscripts, notes, photos, etc.). Based on the writer's prose works ideological, genre, specific content of his novels is holistically considered, showing the features of the author's interpretation of historical events. The organizational and methodological approach of historical analysis received its further development on this basis. The relevance of presenting facts of historical reality and the introduction of elements of fiction in the text is substantiated. Constant pattern of problem formation and poetics of the writer's works, structural features, genre and stylistic specificity and imagery of his prose are studied in the work. Methods and techniques of relation of scientific knowledge and artistic interpretation of history are defined; the cognitive, educational and spiritually changing opportunities of works on historical themes are emphasized.
