The special signs of obviously unjust judgment, special subjects of the crime (professional judge, the investigating judge, people's assessor, juror) are presented in the thesis. A special attention is paid to the characteristics of his selfish motives aggravating circumstances. The author has presented a definition of the concepts "motive" and "selfish motive" and has subjected scientific analysis of criminal sanctions for a judge (judges) knowingly unjust judgment and other appropriate sanctions regulations Section XVIII of the Criminal Code are presented. On the basis of the results proposals for improving the legislation of Ukraine criminal liability are developed in the study.
