In the dissertation study clarified the contribution of N. D. Yarmachenko in the theory and history of Russian surdopedagogic. In particular, contributions to the theory of surdopedagogic concerns 4 aspects: coherent speech; consciousness; compensation; socialization and integration. The role of N. D. Yarmachenko as historian surdopedagogic when they are first thoroughly systematized and lit the activities of the special institutions for deaf children on the territory of modern Ukraine, certain periods of history surdopedagogic promulgated a series of factual material.
