Essay

The study theoretically justifies and propose a new way of solving actual scientific and practical problem of pain treatment in patients with colorectal cancer through the application of chemical epidural neurolysis with 30? ethanol. Proved superiority of epidural use chemical neurolysis in the early postoperative period compared with parenteral opioid-analgesia. Established that epidural chemical neurolysis have positive effect on reducing stress markers and other mediators in early and late postoperative periods, it can reduce the number and frequency of administration of narcotic analgesics, and abandon them in the future. The method allow to reduce time spent in ICU and treatment period in hospital. It improves cancer patient's quality of life, increase their overall physical activity and positively affect their psycho-emotional stat.
