Khramtsova V. Psychological traits as the factors of vital activity restriction of the persons with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and their psychological correction

The thesis is focused on the systematic approach to the study of psychological traits as factors of vital activity restriction. We theoretically justified and proposed a system and principles of psychological treatment aimed to reduce anxiety and to increase stress resistance and social activities of people with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. We defined the peculiarities of formation of the internal picture of disease in the presence and absence of disability. Psychological risk factors were defined as well as the role and importance of psychological and physical factors that affect the quality of life and the restriction of vital activity. Also we identified criteria of psychological component of their rehabilitation potential. A system of psychological treatment wаs developed for individual rehabilitation programs for patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and its effectiveness was determined.
