Golovchak M. Limitation in criminal law Ukraine.

The dissertation is a comprehensive research limitations in criminal law Ukraine. Author determined elements of limitations as a legal construction of criminal law Ukraine, describes its historical origins in works of Criminal Law of Ukraine carried out a comparative study of the legal limitations of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and some foreign countries. The analysis of the initial and final points in the course of the limitation period, particularly in the case of crimes of formal and material composition of a truncated, incomplete crimes, і's continued and ongoing crimes, crimes committed in the presence of complicity with the division of roles and in the case of ideal and real multiple offenses. The characteristic length of the limitation period, in particular, proved its value with the maximum amount of punishment prescribed for the offense in kind, depending on the severity. Consider the circumstances that stop and interrupt the flow of statutory limitations and exceptions to the rules of its use, and its legal consequences. Based on the results of the study, developed proposals to improve legislation of Ukraine on criminal responsibility.
