Work is devoted to the search for new high-efficiency and low toxicity compounds with the predicted pharmacological action of derivatives of 8-bromo-7-?-hydroxyaetylxanthine. The proposed formulations and methods of synthesis obtained by a number of previously undescribed in the literature derivatives of 8-bromo-7-b-hydroxyaetylxanthine. To confirm the structure of the synthesized compounds employed elemental analysis, IR-, NMR-spectroscopy (methods including COSY, NOESY), mass spectrometry. The purity and identity of compounds was confirmed by thin layer chromatography. Studied acute toxicity, neuroleptic, antihypoxia, antioxidant, diuretic, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and antifungal activity of the synthesized compounds, which revealed certain patterns relationship "structure-action" and recommended for further in-depth biological studies of 3-methyl-7-b-phenoxyaetylxanthinil-8-N-y-aminobutyrate, piperazinium, which is low in toxicity and shows high diuretic, analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects.
