Hasiuk M. Transformation of the banking system of Ukraine in terms of the foreign capital movement.

In the thesis the theoretical framework, scientific and methodological approaches to the transformation of the banking system in terms of the movement of foreign capital are investigated and improved. The essential characteristics and economic concept of "transformation of the banking system" are exposed; and the key objectives on solving which are aimed the transformation are identified. The factors that influence on transformation of the banking system are specified and the main types of transformation processes in the banking are defined. On the basis of economic and mathematical modeling the impact of foreign capital on the concentration of capital in the banking sector are analyzed. Based on correlation and regression analysis, the three main models of research required level of capital concentration in the banking sector, which includes an assessment of the relative performance of the banking and level of the country's GDP are devoted. The ranking of banks with foreign capital that based of public information, which includes an analysis of the banking sector and provides an assessment not only opportunities for financial support of the parent company, but also indicators that characterize its activity, to evaluate the financial position of the parent and willingness support their subsidiaries are defined. Practical recommendations for improving the processes of transformation of infrastructure banking system by transforming a two-tier banking system into three-level and included in its membership of the credit cooperatives are given.
